International Womens Day and Women's Health

Friday March 8 is International Women's Day celebrating women's achievements and keeping the focus on gender equality for women in the world. Bringing attention and change to women's health is an important priority along with employment, opportunities, harassment and family violence.

From a health perspective, in Australia, 1 in 3 women (vs. 1 in 5 men) will experience Anxiety. In 2016 Dementia became the leading cause of death among females, and females account for 64% of all dementia related deaths.

To support and enhance female health, I am sharing a short video interview with Dr. Sara Gottfried. It contains effective tips including diet, sleep, exercise and meditation. Prioritise your health and gradually weave healthy habits into your day so that they become automatic and part of your daily routine.
