Forest Bathing

Forest bathing, also known as nature therapy, has the specific intention to connect with nature in a healing way. If you would like to read more about the science that supports this, check out this article

If you are interested in exploring a healing connection with nature, here are some tips:

Find a place with plenty of trees.
Choose a time and duration that works for you.
Go slow and be mindful - walk slowly and stop or sit regularly to notice the detail of leaves, the size of trees, the light coming through the trees, the sound of birds, the scents you smell.

Even if you can’t get to a forest, try it as you walk around your local area. Notice plants, take your time and smell the roses (literally) or other flowers.

May your connection with nature make you happier, healthier and more at peace. Mary.
